EXHIBITION DESIGNING UNIVERSAL KNOWLEDGE
The book Designing universal knowledge is the starting point of
our contribution to the exhibition INFODECODATA of the Graphic Design Museum in Breda (NL). The exhibition discusses the role
of information design and presents historical and new forms of
data visualizations. We designed a 26-meter-long data wall with
books and films, mapping the milestones of information design and the most influential information designers. The wall also shows
information from a survey where we asked people for their most
universal events, persons and images in the history of the world.
Besides we designed an infographic presenting the world's largest
databases and an animation describing the development of
information visualization and classification through the ages.
Exhibition: February 20 September 2, 2010
